Hi! My name is Sydney. I was recently offered a "position" as a freshman blog writer with the SFA Alumni Association to keep everyone up to date with what is going on in college life from a student’s point of view. There are so many different things that we as students are going through, and it is my hope that I at least give you some insight into the life of a college freshman and that you are maybe able to see the differences of now from when you were in college.
Basic background information about me is that I am a seventeen year old college freshman majoring in biology. I am taking a very hard sixteen hours this semester and realizing the challenges of college life. I am fortunate to have an amazing group of family and friends that support my every decision.
I would love interaction between everyone and the blog. Anything you want to know about on campus with student life I will do my best to figure it out for you first hand. I will post my first true blog later this week with information about homecoming and how my first homecoming at college was.
