Our auction raises money for the operations of the SFA Alumni Association and scholarships providing a fun way for alumni to participate by donating and bidding. The auction includes everything from travel packages to VIP experiences to custom SFA items.

10th Annual SFA Homecoming 5K

Race starts on the SFA campus near the Cole STEM Building at 5:45 p.m
5K Cost (comes with a shirt):

1-Miler Cost (does not come with a shirt): All $5

Get your first look at the SFA men and women basketball teams. They will host a small scrimmage, dunk contest, and give away lots of prizes!

Bob Sitton Classic at Homecoming - NEW TIME
Registration: 8:30 AM
Start: 10 AM
Piney Woods Country Club, 3001 U.S. 59
Cost: $150 individual; $600 team; $1200 corporate team

Four-player scramble. Players may enter as a single or recruit their own team. Entry fee includes tournament play, golf cart, refreshments, and t-shirt. Tee gifts to all contestants, great prizes for all gross and net winners and closest-to-hole also will be awarded. A few holes throughout the course will have food trucks, local spirits and beer, and a mobile cigar lounge golfers can enjoy.

"Back in Nac" Social

Nine Flags Bar, The Fredonia Hotel, 200 N. Fredonia

To kick off the weekend, join fellow alumni for the happiest of all happy hours at the "Back in Nac" Social. Enjoy purple margaritas and Fredonia Brewery Purple Lights beer (for purchase), awesome appetizer specials, live music by Shay Domann and Jonathan Webster, photo booth and more! Be sure to go by after the bonfire festivities for late-night specials, too.

Free shuttle service between the bonfire and The Fredonia Hotel. Bus shuttle runs every 15 minutes.

Torchlight Parade and Bonfire
Torchlight Parade: 9 PM, Location: Baker Pattillo Student Center, below Starbucks
Bonfire: 9:30 PM @ the Intramural Fields

Show your school spirit as SFA alumni, students, and the Nacogdoches community gather to cheer on the SFA football team, cheerleaders, dance team, and band! Fireworks and a special performance by Walker Hayes will conclude the night's festivities!

Cost: $10; FREE for Life Members (and one guest)
 
Enjoy breakfast like a Lumberjack with flap "jacks." Decorate your meal with purple goodies, take photos in our circus themed photo booth with Lenny the Lumberjack and spirit teams, and listen to live music by the SFA steel drum band!
 

Homecoming Parade
10 AM
Downtown Nacogdoches

Celebrate SFA and enjoy themed floats, music, and pageantry. The parade is FREE for all to attend. This year's theme is "circus."

Coffee with Bob Sitton and Betty Ford

Stop by and reminiscence about the good ol' days with Alumni Relations Executive Director Emeritus, Bob Sitton, and former Assistant to the Director, Betty Ford. All attendees will receive a commemorative campfire mug and purple donuts. Check out the online auction items while you are there!

Join the SFA Alumni Association for delicious cirucs-themed tailgate food, the Suddenlink Viewing lounge & WiFi powered by Altice, SFA swag, tailgate games, and live music by Shay Domann.

Alumni Corner is FREE for Alumni Association members; $15 for non-members; $5 for children ages 6 - 10 (with adult); and FREE for children 5 and younger (with adult).

Enjoy the family friendly fall fest with petting zoo sponsored by Loblolly Properties, bounce houses, Kona premium tropical shaved ice, purple cotton candy sponsored by the Rusche College of Business, photo booth, balloon animals, games, candy and prizes. The event is FREE and fun for children of all ages.

Guten Tag! Head on over to the Fredonia Brewery for pregame fun or post-game celebrations in the Biergarten. Experience live entertainment throughout the day. Eat a Bite Food Truck will serve German food, the Rebellion Pizza Kitchen will be open, and of course plenty of German beer will be flowing including the Oktoberfest brew, Marzen, on tap. Prost!
