Homecoming Auction Kickoff Celebration

Join the SFA Alumni Association as we kick off our 2024 Homecoming Online Auction. Enjoy complimentary space-themed eats and treats, cash bar (2 free drink tickets for life members), photo booth, SFA giveaways, DJ, and more!

Visit SFAAlumni.com/Auction to bid on your favorite items and help raise money for SFA alumni programming!

Our auction raises money for the operations of the SFA Alumni Association and scholarships providing a fun way for alumni to participate by donating and bidding. The auction includes everything from travel packages to VIP experiences to custom SFA items.

"Back in Nac" Social
4 - 7 PM
Nine Flags Bar, The Fredonia Hotel, 200 N. Fredonia

To kick off the weekend, join fellow alumni for the happiest of all happy hours at the "Back in Nac" Social. Enjoy space-themed eats and treats, purple margaritas (for purchase), awesome appetizer specials, live music by Shay Domann, photo booth and more! Be sure to go by after the bonfire festivities for late-night specials, too.

Homecoming Jack Track Bus Shuttle  
6 PM - 11 PM

Free shuttle service between the bonfire and The Fredonia Hotel. Bus shuttle runs every 15 minutes.

Bonfire and Concert  
Opening Act (Heat Above): 7 PM
Pep Rally/Drone Show: 8 PM
The Josh Abbott Band (Headlining Concert): 9 PM
Intramural Fields

Show your school spirit as SFA alumni, students, and the Nacogdoches community gather to cheer on the SFA football team, cheerleaders, dance team, and band! A drone show and special performances will conclude the night's festivities! 

Homecoming Flap "Jack" Breakfast
7:30 - 10 AM
The Fredonia Hotel Convention Center, 200 N. Fredonia St.
Cost: $10 per person; FREE for Life Members
 
Enjoy breakfast like a Lumberjack with flap "jacks." Decorate your meal with purple and space-themed goodies, take photos with the SFA cheer and dance teams, bounce around in a spaceship, and get creative at our coloring wall!
 

Homecoming Parade
10 AM
Downtown Nacogdoches

Celebrate SFA and enjoy themed floats, music, and pageantry. The parade is FREE for all to attend. This year's theme is "SFA is Out of This World."

The parade route goes west on Hospital Street to East Pecan Street; east on Main Street to Walker Street, where the bands and floats with small
children will go back to T.J.R. Middle School.

Cosmic Kickoff (Pre-Tailgate Tailgate)
10:30 AM - 3 PM
Fredonia Brewery, 138 N. Mound Street

After the parade, come kick it with the brewery & the Visit Nacogdoches team as they host a joint pre-tailgate tailgate party! Walk over from the brick streets and enjoy tailgate games like cornhole, washers, jumbo jenga, bucketball, and more!  Shali's Indian Kitchen will be there as well the Rebellion Pizza Kitchen! OH AND there will be FREE finger foods like a true tailgate should have provided by the CVB!  Grab a beer and come hang out during this OUT OF THIS WORLD tailgate! Go Jacks!

Alumni Corner Tailgate
3 PM - Kickoff
Alumni Corner, corner of Raguet and Hayter streets

Join the SFA Alumni Association for a delicious tailgate spread and signature drink, Lumberjack Sangria, Lumberjack Lounge with TVs and Wi-Fi powered by Optimum, SFA swag, tailgate games, a cash bar and live music by Shay Domann.

Alumni Corner is FREE for Alumni Association members; $30 for non-members; $10 for children ages 10 and under (with adult). Each person (ages 21+) receives a complimentary drink ticket for the signature drink of the day.

Alumni Fall Fest
3 PM - Kickoff
Alumni Corner, corner of Raguet and Hayter streets

Enjoy the family friendly fall fest with a spaceship bounce house, space station obstacle course, petting zoo, Dippin' Dots, cotton candy twirling, Kona premium tropical shaved ice, galaxy popcorn, 360 photo booth, balloon animals, face painting, candy and prizes. The first 100 kids receive a FREE "Future Lumberjacks" t-shirt. The event is FREE and fun for children of all ages.

      


Homecoming Football Game
6 PM
Homer Bryce Stadium, SFA Campus

Cheer on the Lumberjacks as they face Houston Christian University! Visit www.sfajacks.com to purchase game tickets or call 936-468-JACK (5225).

Homecoming Brunch at The Fredonia Hotel 
10 AM - 2 PM
1st City Cafe, The Fredonia Hotel, 200 N. Fredonia St.

Enjoy a festive ending to Homecoming with a purple and space-themed brunch. Bring your family, friends and former classmates to connect and share SFA memories.

We're looking forward to seeing you and your friends at the parade, tailgate, game and other events!

Be sure to wear purple all weekend long!
