Tyler resident Jimmy W. Murphy, CLU, ChFC, presents
a $25,000 check to Jeff Davis, executive director of the Stephen F. Austin
State University Alumni Association. This recent contribution made by Murphy, a
1956 SFA graduate, is the first installment of the latest $300,000 gift to the
SFA Alumni Association. The funds are designated for football scholarships and
enriching the overall football program at SFA.
This
amount brings Murphy’s total commitments and contributions to the SFA Alumni
Association and Stephen F. Austin State University to more than $2 million.
