KATY, Texas - The Stephen F. Austin Lumberjack basketball team will begin its first-ever NCAA Championships appearance by taking on Syracuse in Miami, Fla. The Lumberjacks earned the No. 14 seed in the South Region and will take on No. 3 Syracuse Friday with the game time yet to be announced.

The other two teams in the sub-regional are No. 6 Arizona State and No. 11 Temple.
