Lumberjacks, we invite you to attend the Battle of the Piney Woods pre-game reception on Friday, Oct. 22 and the tailgate and football game on Saturday, Oct. 23. We are looking forward to an exciting weekend in Houston. Please join us. Axe 'em 'Jacks!

FRIDAY EVENING RECEPTION
6 p.m - 8 p.m. Wear purple and join fan, friends and alumni on the eve of the Battle of the Piney Woods for food and drinks in the Austin Room of the J.W. Marriott hotel.

SATURDAY PRE-GAME ACTIVITIES
11 a. m - 1:30 p.m. SFA will host a university tailgate party at the southeast corner of Reliant Stadium adjacent to the Astrodome. Food will be available for the first 1,000 fans, and cash bars will be open throughout the event. Tailgating opportunities are available for alumni and fans in the blue lot of Reliant Stadium on a first come first serve basis.

2 p.m. Kick-off SFA vs. Sam Houston State

Ticket Information
Tickets for the game remain on sale online through the SFA Ticket Office or Ticketmaster. Ticket prices range from $15 to $35 and can be purchased by calling 936-468-JACK or toll free 800-775-3358.
