Morgan A. Tomberlain of Longview, past executive director of the Student Foundation Association, was appointed as student regent by Gov. Perry. She is an alumnus of Alpha Chi Omega, a member of the East Texas SFA Alumni Organization Golf Tournament Committee, and decorations chairman for the Longview Habitat for Humanity Raise the Roof Fundraiser. Tomberlain received a bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and is pursuing a master’s degree in family and consumer sciences from SFASU. She replaces Lacey Claver of Nacogdoches.
