The Alumni
association wishes to thank those friends and former students who
donated items to the auction and those bidding on auction items. The
auction at Lumberjack Bash raised more than $20,155 for the Alumni Scholarship Fund.The Alumni Association wishes to thank each person who purchased a Benefit ticket that raised more than $17,400 for the Alumni Endowment. The winner in the $10,000 Benefit drawing held at Lumberjack Bash was Wendy Buchanan of Nacogdoches.The
Alumni Association wishes to thank those who participated in the 35th

Duck Dash held at Lumbejack Alley raised nearly $16,400 for the Alumni
Scholarship Endowment. Out of the 3,861 ducks that raced, the winning
duck was sponsored by Brittany Johnson
of Nacogdoches and won the first prize - a $1000 SFA Scholarship
donated by Jack Backers College Bookstore. Other winners were: Wesley Berry of Cushing, second prize; Dennis Tuel of The Woodlands, third place; Amber Boswell of Longview, fourth place; Jackie Becker of Nacogdoches, fifth place; Phillip Melton of Nacogdoches, sixth place; Dr. Mike Harbordt of Nacogdoches, seventh place.
Chapter Award Winners: Chapter Leader of the Year Award - Andrea Thompson of the San Antonio Chapter, Chapter Fundraiser of the Year - Longview Chapter, Chapter of the Year - Houston Chapter.
